This a a lovely and versatile vintage Royal Winton Grimwades, England Marguerite Chintz covered box or lidded box from the 1930s.

The pretty chintz box is a pattern of brown with blue bells, red flowers and yellow daisies on white with the more expensive 22kt gold trim.

The pattern was introduced in 1928 and used through the 1950s.

The pretty box is a rarely seen shape in this chintz pattern and measures 2 inches high by 4.5 inches long by 3.5 inches wide.

The box is in very good used vintage condition with no chips or cracks but does show some flaking of the 22kt gold trim as seen in the photos.

Perfect for jewelry, tea bags or mists or almost anything that needs an elegant vintage home.
